Hello Freshies and OGLs! (:
I hope all of you are currently staying at home! If you are thinking of going out, think again. Think of your family members, your friends who did not attend the camp. I know it is not easy staying put at home when you have only just made more new friends the past few days.
We regret the premature end to the camp as well. We were looking forward to giving you guys the time of your lives at Sentosa and Temasek Club on Wednesday as well. But we have to put you guys' safety above all else. Do try to understand. (:
If all goes well, we will be having a CORs talk on one of the Saturdays.
Do check back here and your email account regularly for more updates! (:
Rest well, stay healthy and we will see you soon!

What is admission day?
Hello again! (:
Responding to the numerous inquiries on admission day, here's an update on the much-discussed admission day (although you will receive a letter regarding the said subject by next Monday)! (:
Admission Day
Date: 13 June 2009, Saturday
Time: 12noon to 3pm
Venue: SDE3, Level 4 Lecture Rooms
Audience: Incoming freshmen, that's YOU!!!!
Ok, obviously, the Admission Day is not compulsory. But it will be beneficial if you come down on the day. And you don't have to apply to come down for Admission Day, just come down to SDE next Saturday! Fear not if you worry about getting lost! We will have seniors at the bus stops (refer to the above mentioned letter) to direct you to the venue. (:
Admission Day will be a day where you can finally meet some of your seniors and interact with them. We will be sharing with you what your respective courses entail, and of course, the DE Camp (look forward to it!)! (:
After the talk, you can sign up for the camp (refer to the letter, again), talk to your seniors and look around for familiar faces in the crowd! (: Take a look at your course mates too! We are a bunch of nice people and I am sure your batch will be too! (:
If you are unable to attend the Admission Day next Saturday and are absolutely sure you want to join the DE Camp (and you should!), do drop us an email at sdefoc09@gmail.com. (:
Don't hesitate anymore! It's an once in a lifetime experience. After all, how many times can you be a freshmen?
We at the main committee are looking forward to seeing all of you next Saturday! (:
In the meantime, continue firing away at the tagboard! (:
If you are unable to make it for the Admission Day because you are/ will be overseas and have already signed up for the DE Camp, let us know via email and we will send you the necessary information with regards to the camp and payment. But do turn up if you can. We will cover more than what we can email you and there are things we want to show all of you that we simply cannot fit into an email. (:
